Daniel "Todd" Dean is a 2002 graduate of Stetson University College of Law, St. Petersburg, FL. Mr. Dean received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and a minor in mathematics from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL in May 1999. Mr. Dean was an Assistant Attorney General, State of Florida Office of the Attorney General under Attorney General Charlie Crist from 2003-2005 where he represented the State of Florida Child Support Enforcement Division of the Department of Revenue and tried over 1500 non-jury trials before joining the firm.
Since joining the firm, Mr. Dean represents Respondents in child support actions initiated by the Child Support Enforcement Division of the Department of Revenue such as paternity, child support modifications, and establishment of child support obligations. He also represents individuals and businesses that are experiencing difficulties with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) such as federal tax liens, employment tax problems, appeals, and unpaid taxes.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Dean was a Machinist Mate with the United States Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program from April 1988 through May 1996 attaining the rank of Machinist Mate First Class (E-6). While in the Navy, Mr. Dean was responsible for analyzing water used in nuclear reactors and steam generating systems and maintaining radioactive contamination within federal regulation as promulgated by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and United States Navy.
